Rising star Debbii took the stage, stunning Abba enthusiasts with her audition

Introducing Debbii Dawson, a gifted singer, songwriter, and musician who made a splash on America’s Got Talent’s seventeenth season. Her captivating slow rendition of ABBA’s “Dancing Queen” impressed the judges, earning her a unanimous pass to the next round.

Sophie Vergara praised her, saying, “There’s something about you. I wouldn’t mind listening to your voice all day long. It’s amazing, I love it.” Despite her popularity and talent, Debbii was eliminated before the semi-finals.

Her AGT audition video quickly went viral on YouTube, gathering over two million views in just 24 hours, showcasing her remarkable poise under pressure.

Debbii hails from Hutchinson, Minnesota, born on March 10, 1996. Her musical journey was influenced by her father, David, an Indian-born musician who learned music in a unique way from his own father, and passed this love for music to Debbii.

David met Debbii’s mother, Sharon, while pursuing music studies in America. Debbii’s siblings, Jonathan and Sitarah, also share the family’s creative gene, with Jonathan being a professional photographer and Sitarah sharing singing talents with Debbii, even securing second place in a talent show together.

Despite her AGT exit, Debbii continues to pursue music, consistently uploading to her YouTube channel, which is steadily growing in subscribers. Skilled in multiple instruments, Debbii excels in creating unique acoustic covers, notably her innovative take on “Dancing Queen” which showcases her indie vocal style beautifully. For those yet to experience her version, it’s a must-listen.
