Dog Sneaks Into Metallica Concert and Watches the Entire Show Like a True Fan
A dog named Storm accidentally became the most unexpected Metallica fan of the night after sneaking out of her home and finding her way into SoFi Stadium during the band’s M72 World Tour stop in Inglewood, California.
While nearly 80,000 fans packed the venue to witness Metallica’s thunderous show, Storm somehow made it past the chaos, the crowd, and the noise, then calmly settled into an open stadium seat as if she had bought a ticket herself.
Photos of the dog sitting in the stands quickly went viral, but the story first sparked outrage when people believed she had been abandoned at the concert. Metallica later stepped in and cleared up the confusion, explaining that Storm had escaped from her home near the stadium and made her way to the show all on her own.
The band joked that she enjoyed canine versions of their classics, including “Master of Puppies” and “The Mailman That Never Comes,” while also reminding fans not to bring pets to concerts.
After the show, Storm was safely taken to a nearby shelter. Her shocked owners only learned what had happened when they saw her photo online. The next day, Storm was reunited with her family, ending one of the strangest and sweetest stories in Metallica history.
