Ozzy Osbourne Set To Receive BRITs Lifetime Achievement Award With All-Star Tribute At 2026 Ceremony

Ozzy Osbourne will be honored with the BRITs Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2026 BRIT Awards this Saturday, marking a historic moment as the ceremony takes place in Manchester for the first time. The event will be held at the city’s Co-op Live arena and is expected to draw global attention to one of rock music’s most influential figures.
The night will close with a special all-star tribute performance of “No More Tears,” curated by Sharon Osbourne. The performance will reunite several of Ozzy’s longtime collaborators, including guitarist Zakk Wylde, bassist Robert Trujillo, drummer Tommy Clufetos, and keyboardist Adam Wakeman. Adding a surprising crossover element, Robbie Williams will handle lead vocal duties for the tribute.
BRITs Committee Chair Stacey Tang described Ozzy as a “mighty force” whose impact on rock music has spanned more than five decades. With over 100 million albums sold worldwide, Ozzy’s legacy includes era-defining songs such as “Paranoid,” “Crazy Train,” and “Mr. Crowley,” both as the frontman of Black Sabbath and throughout his solo career.
The 2026 ceremony also represents a major shift for the BRITs, as it becomes the first edition of the awards to be hosted outside London. In addition to the Ozzy Osbourne tribute, the show will feature performances from major contemporary artists including Harry Styles, RAYE, and Wolf Alice, blending modern pop and alternative acts with a celebration of classic rock history.
The Lifetime Achievement Award cements Ozzy Osbourne’s place as one of the most enduring and transformative figures in British music, with the Manchester tribute set to serve as both a career-spanning salute and one of the most talked-about moments of the night.
